LinksWest Wing Sites Inside the Bartlet White House: Susannah's site is the most well-organized, informed website I've come upon for the show. And with the demise of TestyToad's "The West Wing Online", it has become, in my opinion, the premier West Wing site on the Internet. My favorite sections: character and episode guides, the newsroom, and the message board. "The West Wing" Continuity Guide: A wonderful site with extensive information on the characters and the episodes. If you wondered what song they played in a recent episode or why Toby said what he said, this is the place to find the answers. My favorite sections: the character guides, the discontinuities page, and the amazingly comprehensive links section. Mighty Big TV: Great recaps of episodes of the show, along with special recap features of "The American President" and various cast interviews. Sometimes sarcastic but always on the nose, deborah gives wonderful summaries. And Aaron Sorkin is known to stop by their message boards... Fan Fiction Sites Jori and Mojo's State of the Union: Home of the SotU list-mods, this site showcases Jori and Mojo's amazing adult-fic. Their Josh/Donna series, "Campaign Promises", is not to be missed. Also check out the beautiful West Wing e-mail postcards these two have created. Bipartisan Relations: All the Sam/Ainsley fic you could ever want, courtesy of archivist Perri. Allison's "Haven" series is here, along with Mich's hilarious West Wing/Shakespeare fics. Check it out! Josh and Donna Fan Fiction by Bramble: Looking for a laugh? Bramble's hilarious Josh/Donna fics are hilarious, sometimes sweet, and always smutty. Her "Surprises" standalone and new series of stories that take off on famous episodes of Friends are some of my favorites. The Jo and Ryo Collective: Jo and Ryo write some of the best Josh/Donna romance stories I've ever read. Their "Exit Strategy" and "A Winning Strategy" are amazing examples of Josh/Donna 'shipper fic at its best. Pix's West Wing Fanfic: Pix is my favorite West Wing writer, hands down. Her "Crash Into Me" series is heartbreaking, wonderful, and real. Her adult fic is amazing, too, especially the "Secret World" series. The Collected Ramblings of Puck and Zillah: These two ladies are some of the best, most productive fic writers in the fandom. Their "Namesakes" universe is adorable. Come for the Josh/Donna stories, stay for the best Sam/Ainsley fic I've ever read. |
